Andretti puts 2 cars at the front of Indy 500 qualifying

Andretti Autosport claimed the top of the speed chart midway through Indianapolis 500 qualifying, with former race winners Ryan Hunter-Reay and Alexander Rossi leading a strong Honda showing. Rossi moved to the top of the board with a four-lap average of 231.268 mph at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Teammate Hunter-Reay was waiting on pit lane to make his run when Rossi radioed feedback from his four laps.
