The Los Angeles Angels closed out a 5-3 victory over the Boston Red Sox early Thursday morning, getting a two-run single from Bobby Abreu in the 13th inning of a game that took more than 71/2 hours to complete. The Angels and Red Sox waited out a rain delay of 2 hours, 35 minutes in the fifth inning and finally finished at 2:45 a.m.
