Willa Ford to Play Anna Nicole Smith

Dancer-singer Willa Ford has signed to star as Anna Nicole Smith in an indie biopic that will begin shooting next week, reports Variety.

The previously announced film, Anna Nicole, is produced by Jack Nasser and Joseph Nasser with Elie Samaha executive producing. Keoni Waxman is directing.

The movie will cover Smith's life from age 17 until her death in February at 39, including her success as a Playboy centerfold, Guess model and actress, her marriage to billionaire oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II, the death of her son and her own death five months after giving birth to a baby girl, Dannielynn.

The dispute that erupted over who was the baby's father was settled Tuesday when a judge in the Bahamas ruled, based on DNA tests, in favor of California photographer and former Smith boyfriend Larry Birkhead.

Ford's best known for her multiplatinum single "I Wanna Be Bad" and her debut album "Willa Was Here." She was also a performer on the third season of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." She is currently writing and recording her sophomore album.

Just checked--I changed my settings to "strict" and came up with a whole different set of pics. You'd never know she was in Playboy!

No, the link is definitely different depending on your settings. The first time I clicked on it I got a whole bunch of pics of her naked, once I changed my settings, it came up with nothing bad. Same link, different results. Mods should leave it alone, I would think...everyone's been warned!

I'm blanking on her name but there was a blond model a few years ago who would have been perfect for the role at least looks wise. she was built more like Anna, I think she was even in a music video(Billy Joel?).

The other person who immediately comes to mind to play this role would have been Erika Elaniak.

Go to Google, then to the right of the search window thing, there's a part that says "preferences." Once you get there, there's a part for safe search filtering. Change it to "no filter" or something like that.

It's worth it--that chick is really, really hot.
