Seriously guys, I may be very wrong, but my gut tells me that they would not make some early announcement of a BIG presser just to say "we have changes the unis". And I doubt they have changed the Logo yet.

IS there anyone else here who has the same feeling on this as me? Not about Emmitt but just that this is going to be something other than Unis?

I just can't believe Emitt would not call his own press conference. And Mike Jureki would break the news for him, seams a little odd. The all time leading rusher would have a gremlin break the news he is retiring. Even Hunckie Cooper called his own press conference and hes just the best player in AFL.

I agree with you, but so far the only person making any noise about this event is Mike Jurecki, so take that for what it's worth.

So if you go to the Cards team store online why is their authentic jersey price slashed from $179 to $125? Its got to be the unis IMO. Maybe the Cards will show the new unis but will have a waiting list for the new jerseys.

Perhaps because they have a HUGE end of season clearance sale. I don't think it's an indicator one way or another. Also, the Cards online store is run out of Coppell, Texas by an outfit that also runs several other team's stores. They also run the Redskins store, the Titans store, the Lions store, and many other team's stores (I won't list them all).

I disagree. Changing the uniforms and logo would have more than enough significance to call a press confrence.

Heck, the Ravens called a press confrence in Baltimore just to announce they would be wearing all black uniforms against the Browns.

I personally think its the uniforms. The two that said they talked to someone who would know confirmed it. Plus, the Cards hired that new marketing firm to do things. So why not make a big deal about the unis? They were hired to get us excited, and alas we are.

I am right there with ya on this DieHard!!! I was in Missouri listening to the Rams and Cards at SDS in December on radio, and the Ram announcers were marveling at how great the Cards helmet looked. They went on to compare it to the more psychedelic style that is in vogue now among a lot of teams and how that Cardinal really stands out against the white helmet and so on. If it ain't broke don't fix it!!!!!!!!!!
