The Cardinals also want to upgrade at right defensive end and middle linebacker. That led to the visit Saturday of Seattle defensive end Chike Okeafor and Baltimore linebacker Edgerton Hartwell.

The Cardinals were worried about Okeafor's neck in 2003, when he became a free agent after four years with San Francisco, so he signed with the Seahawks and recorded 16½ sacks the last two years.

"There's a new staff here, and it looks like they're doing some good things," Okeafor said.

Hartwell said the Ravens' switch to a 4-3 defensive set, leaving only room for Ray Lewis inside, firmed up his decision to leave.

"I'm looking to go somewhere and make a big difference, a splash," Hartwell said. "And Arizona seems like it could be a place like that."
