Anybody used Consumer Cellular?

My mom just got a phone I'm going to help her get it going I think she either didn't put in the SIM card or it's not really hooked up. Just wondering what sort of service she can expect, she got it as an emergency only but just wondering what sort of coverage they actually have.

I looked online but most of the reviews are from Consumer Cellular not users so hard to tell. Price is sure good.
