Its December and the US has a game in January and a game in February, its the MLS offseason and a perfect time for our domestic based Nationals to go to a camp for the new coach.

What is taking so stinking long??????????

Pele endorsed Kilnsmann a couple days back and Cherundolo told the German media that his sources tell him that Klinsmann is the coach (of course US soccer said he was mistaken).

What is so difficult?

The new coach should be here hiring a staff, watching player film and evaluating players. I'll also be sorely disappointed if he doesn't attend the U20 training as they prepare for qualifiying for the Youth Championships this summer (at least 2 or 3 of those players have a chance of making the 2010 WC team).

They could get in a good week long camp before Christmas if they hurried.

It just irritates me that they've had since the World Cup ended to interview coaches and make a decision and here we are without a coach. All the European teams have been playing meaningful games in Euro qualifying and we've been sitting around doing nothing. That type of stuff is frustrating, how will we ever catch up with the rest of the world.

Name a coach so the team can move forward. Whoever takes over has a lot of work to do and the US has 2 competitions to prepare for next summer.
