anyone get Madden?

Has anyone got Madden yet/ Not for the PS3 or the Wii, but the real version on the 360. Is it worth it if I bought it last year? Im getting sick of the same game with a different package.

Well, I am probably a bad person to ask since I played Madden 07 (X360) about 20 hours total. I just finished year 6 of my franchise on Madden 2006 on PS2.

It looks like EA added some new things, but I did the minigames and they are exactly like last year. Maybe borrow it or rent it before you lay down $60.

I never lay down $60 for a sports game that will be $30 in less than 6 months. I paid $20 for Madden 07.

all platforms (actually the 360 and PS3 is $10 more so it would be $50) - Wii and PS2 are $40 - PSP is $30

Been playing it off and on today. Definitely 10x better than last years version. Actually, it may be one of the best Maddens I've played. (Gameplay wise.) I'm a huge NFL2k fan and this seems to be on par with 2k5 so far - in regards to how much I'm enjoying it.

Note: This is for the 360.

Played it for about an hour today (pc version). It seemed about the same to me as last year, with some added polish (touchdown graffic was one).

Started a franchise and went through the same basic boring training camp as has been there for the last couple or three years. I got about 5 minutes into the first quarter of preseason against the raiders and had to turn it off to do some work.

No I dont have madden 08 yet but i'm getting it tommrow and cant wait From all the reviews i've read it sounds really promising with owner mode back, supstar mode back, and fantasy draft which is one of my favorites. It still doesnt sound like they really added much to the presention in big games such as the superbowl wich is a shame since they have the ea license but that is alright, hopefully they add more to the presentation department next year. But overall I am defintally getting madden 08 for the depth of franchise play with owner mode back and online is always kind of fun. By the way if anyone wants to play on xbox live in madden 08 sometime this week or whenever my gamertag is rudedeath

I played the demo of all pro 2k8 and I have to say it made me really miss the 2k series. 2k5 was hands down better than anything madden has yet to offer. I just like the real nfl teams. I really hope the NFL doesnt renew this deal.

I agree azsouthendzone the nfl2k games had much better presentation and they actually had a superbowl celebration cs after u won the superbowl. I also liked their franchise mode better then madden atleast in nfl 2k5 it was awsome. And yeah I also really really hope 2k gets the nfl license back after this year that would be sweet

The new Madden is good. I wish it had some additional features, such as online leagues and the ability to watch (or at least gamecast) someone else's game.

And see, I like all that stuff. Collecting is gameplay, IMO. (But I also love RPGs)

I got it for PS2...I like all the new features so far and the flexibility with plays and packages...loading times seem to be a little worse than 07 though.
