Anyone know anything about Camcorders?

I am in the market for a Camcorder. I want a good one, but I dont need a top of the line either. I know I should be looking for a 3 chip design for much better picture quaility, and tahts about it. After doing some research I am thinking of getting this one and it is in about my price range:

How does that one look to the more camcorder knowledgable poeple out there. Or is there another one out there that is better at about the same price level?

Whatever you do, make sure you do a few searches for a good price. You'll find them a lot cheaper than you'd think.

Here's a link to the one we bought a few months ago. Cannon ZR600 So far we are quite happy with it!!! Very easy to use. One of my favorite features on it is that it records in wide screen mode!
