Daniel Snyder jumped the gun and had like 3 or 4 guys signed within the 1st 24 hours. It was so suspicious that the league looked into whether he they had deals done before free agency started - but I am not sure anything came of it.
Since Snyder has already talked to Green and Fassel...I would guess he has already made on of them an offer - it is kind of how he operates - unless he wants Ray Rhodes (third guy they are rumored to be interested in). If Green Bay wins today - Ray Rhodes will be available shortly for interviews.. I am not sure the redskins want ray rhodes - but they were supposed to interview him - but cannot due to his team playing this weekend.
If Seattle loses - the dominoes could start to fall by Monday..I wonder what would happen if Green and Fassel told Snyder: hold off - we are still interviewing with other teams (looks like Fassel will not conclude his road show until mid-week)...but since Spurrier walked on a deal that was $4 - $5 mil per year - in theory Snyder has that much to offer to a new coach...and someone will take it. I get the feeling it will be Dennis Green - but I hope Snyder is completely crazy and wants Ray Rhodes...but that is a longshot..
