Anyone use Joomla to create a site?

If so, let me know. It looks like Joomla won't allow us to query an external database to show things like review scores, product data, etc. without tweaking of components meant for e commerce catalogs, etc.

We have migrated to Drupal, which will let us do most of what we want to do, or at least hack our way around it until we can generate enough income to support development of a custom backend and gui redesign.

Yeah that. So earlier today, I separated Russ and DCR with a Shield post.

We didn't need to be separated, we were arguing the same point.
