A person familiar with the negotiations says reigning NL batting champion Dee Gordon has agreed to terms on a $50 million, five-year contract extension with the Miami Marlins, avoiding salary arbitration. Gordon also led all NL second basemen in fielding percentage. The deal was the latest in a busy week for the Marlins.
