Chris Petersen has finally been persuaded to leave Boise State. Petersen has agreed to leave Boise State and become the football coach at Washington, a person with knowledge of the decision told The Associated Press on Friday morning. The person told spoke on the condition of anonymity because the hiring had not been announced by Washington. Petersen reportedly met with Washington athletic director Scott Woodward on Thursday night in Boise.
