The Detroit Pistons have agreed to deals with free agents Caron Butler and D.J. Augustin, according to a person familiar with the situation. The team is set to pay Butler $4.5 million next season, with an option for 2015-16. Detroit has missed the playoffs the last five seasons, and the Pistons recently hired Stan Van Gundy as their new coach and team president. The Pistons have also agreed to terms with Jodie Meeks, who shot 40 percent from 3-point range with the Los Angeles Lakers last season.
