Rutgers has fired coach Kyle Flood and athletic director Julie Hermann, a university official and a person with direct knowledge of the decisions told The Associated Press. The Scarlet Knights just finished a 4-8 season that was a mess on and off the field. Flood is 27-24 in four seasons at Rutgers, including bowl appearances in his first three.
