We are the top Wild Card team. We are only .5 a game out of the lead of our division. Yet, I watched ESPN yesterday, and all I hear is how the Padres will win the division. Also, the Dodgers, San Fran. even without Barry Bonds having a shot to win it all, too. No, "Hey, look at the Dbacks." Or even an acknowledgement that AZ is NOT in last place like ALL those goons predicted we would be right now. :hulk:

I think we are being dissed. Noone is talking about the Dbacks at all right now! Noone! :hulk:

Colorado - by a very wide margin - was the popular pick to finish last in the NL West.

There's still 153 games left to be played and D-Backs have played 9 home games. 6-3 is a good mark so far but let's be honest here, they have won nothing yet and until they prove they can beat quality division opponents on the road and at home expect the pundits to keep ignoring them. But I do think Joe Jr and Moorad deserve a lot of credit from turning last year's abomination into a legitimate MLB squad.

And I still think the Padres are going to win the division so does that mean I'm dissing on the DBacks?

Arizona and Tampa bay are the only two teams that have yet to play on the road this year.

And Florida as well.

Make sense though - put the early games where you know it will be warm!

The more early April games played in Az., southern Cal., and Florida (and any domed stadiums like Minnesota) the better the odds for decent baseball weather

I was trying to get to the Dbacks v Nationals today but its a hard ticket to come by. POTUS is throwing the first pitch out with a ball that was used at the last Senators game in DC 30 some odd years ago supposedly.

I wish the Dbacks were going to be back later in the season when the Nationals crazy fever will die down a bit but they aren't coming back to DC. :(
