are we likely to see Bauer and Parker in the rotation next year?

Ok, I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but with Kennedy and Hudson performing like they are and Saunders being very solid if Bauer and Parker are half what they can he this starting rotation should be scary not to mention Skaggs on a few years.

I think the thought is to get Bauer some innings in September, when rosters expand

Skaggs could be on the team next year if he continues to pitch the way he is. I feel confident that Towers will not trade the future like that dumba$$ Byrnes did.

What a nice problem to have. Too many promising young pitchers. I'm amazed at how quickly the minor league system was rebuilt.

I honestly believe next year we will see 2 of Parker/Skaggs/Bauer in our starting rotation....

I believe Markis is a F.A. and Collmentor in all reality shoudl be in the Bullpen.

My guess for opening day our starting 5 will be

Kennedy
Hudson
Saunders
Parker
Skaggs

SOLID :D

With Bauer waiting in the wings if/when someone goes down..

When the roster can expand I think Skaggs is the guy they bring up this year with an outside shot at Bauer... I think Parker stays down this year..

I see Bauer up before Skaggs. Additionally, we'll also have Bradley to bring up in a year or two. If half of these guys are good starters, we'll be set up for awhile.

I think that there is a saying that applies in these circumstances:

This is what I read too. He'll probably get some time out of the bullpen in a middle relief role, just to get his feet wet with major league hitters.

He'll have a legit shot to earn a spot in the rotation next spring I am sure.

I think Bauer will end up before Saunders, frankly. I see Bauer as the No. 3 guy. I think Saunders is arbitration elgiible at the end of this season and will end up being traded.
