My wife and I are coming over to Phx for Thanksgiving and want to attend 'Yotes/Ducks on Nov 22. I have only seen the team play in AmericaWest and have never been to the new arena. I usually buy my tickets from Ticket Connection but really have no idea what is a good seat or not.

Any advise for seats?

Thanks

Have you looked at phoenixcoyotes.com? You can see the view from pretty much anywhere.

There aren't any limited view seats like AWA had, so the rules that would apply to any other arena apply here. Lower bowl between the goal lines are the best.

*edit* Also, you can buy directly from the Coyotes and have them leave the tickets at will call. I don't know Ticket Connection but I assume they have a broker fee. And every time I've called them (I have a 7 game pack) they have offered me single game tickets buy one, get one free.

Actually, there are a few seats that are obstructed view. Just stay away from the top rows (L - P?) in sections 205, 211, 220, and 226 and I think you'll be safe.

I like sections 208, 209, or 210 for upper level (south end zone). You get the benefit of seeing Coyotes power play for 2 periods, and if there's a shootout, you have an awesome view for that too.

Really? Hmm... Guess I haven't been in those sections. I have tickets for 11/12, maybe I'll swing by and take a look.

There are only a few seats that have obstructed view. If you sit in one of the top rows and right next to those Party Zones, then the Party Zone will block your view. I'm guessing that only 10-20 seats throughout the arena would have this problem, though.

But if MrY finds himself in one of these seats for the Ducks game, he should have no problem finding empty seats that have a great view.
