Morning press conference this morning.. Every game, we get Arians saying it isn't Palmers fault.. I don't get it.. Who's fault it is then? This is getting ridiculous.. Wasn't Carson's fault last week or the week before either.. :bang:

I think it's smoke, just like the Elite Levi Brown. Would be interesting to see how he handles Carson in practices and the film room.

I'm thinking it was this guy that inspired him to wear the Kangol.

I should want to pile-on here; especially because of Kangol-connection (LMFAO)!

But...I agree with him; I listened to Palmer and Larry in the post-game interview; I like them both and they like each other, which tells me a lot.

It is the offensive line (stupid); who are at this moment, preparing to defeat the rest of NFL in the "Mother-of-all" offensive line drives!

Palmer throws the ball up like a rookie. I don't need Arians to confirm this. I see it every week. The guy is just not good.

The first pick was clearly under-thrown. If Carson puts it out in front of Fitz, it's probably a TD.

BA is going to lose this fan base in record time if he isn't careful. We may be desperate for a competent offense, but we're not stupid.

Can someone enlighten me why it's never Carson's fault?

You and me both Gee. Some of them I can believe but week after week?

Either we have the dumbest group of WR's and TE's in the NFL, or Palmer is throwing the ball to the defense.

yup...just like the "jump ball" flea-flicker that was blamed somehow on Floyd not being a good enough defensive back.

my issue is that BA is basically blaming everyone on the offense HE didn't bring in, almost as if he can tell himself that none of this is his fault. The QB he apparently pushed hard to go and get isn't the problem. It's all the problems of the guys he inherited.

I honestly HOPE he's just saying this about Palmer as media-speak to protect his QB, because if he honestly believes what he's saying, we're dealing with potential disaster at HC.

Not sticking up for CP here, he throws alot of rookie balls for a vet. Is it just me, or do all of our receivers appear to get no separation?

That's been an issue for years because of lack of speed.

Roberts seemed to be pretty good last year but this year he's apparently never open or Palmer doesn't throw to him.

It's why we run so many pick plays or throw it up down the sideline plays we have no Mel Gray or Roy Green to stretch the field.

It's not you. But one explanation for the lack of separation is that the OL doesn't give CP enough time to wait for his receivers to gain that separation.

A passing attack is a big complex, many tentacled integrated monster. If one tentacle (i.e. pass blocking) is inefficient, it has a deleterious affect on the various other tentacles (like accuracy, velocity, timing, route-running, separation etc.). And every other tentacle has to impact the effectiveness of al the other tentacles in the same way. If they don't mesh, the monster dies.

There were a lot of plays that the WR broke up by going over the back of the corner. Carson's throwing bad passes.

This is the first that Arians pushed Keim and Bidwill for Palmer that I've heard. Really, when your presumed starter is Drew Stanton (another Arians guy), I would think that you'd take what you could get.

Yes. BA reads this board and he doesn't want to learn that thesmel is upset with him for not telling Carson that everything is wonderful and he's the best quarterback ever.

Roberts looked fine for the first two weeks and has plenty of speed. It is Palmer who fell apart because he wasn't getting good protection. He is an emotional mess who can't think straight.

Anyone who watches the game can tell that Arians is covering for his QB, I am sure there are some that his WRs are responsible for, but there are some that are obviously poor balls by Palmer. What Arians could be saying is that our wide receivers are expected to win on those under thrown balls.

What I do know is that this public defense of the QB will be helpful next year when we are starting a rookie QB.
