The Arizona Cardinals have interest in some of the top pass-rushing prospects in the 2025 NFL draft. They were scheduled to have an official top-30 meeting with Texas A&M pass rusher Shemar Stewart, who was one of the most impressive players at the NFL combine. They also have met with his teammate.

According to Aaron Wilson, Nic Scourton has already had a visit with the Cardinals before heading to visit the Houston Texans on Friday.

Scourton is projected as a possible first-round pick.

He played two seasons at Purdue and led the Big Ten with 10 sacks in 2023 before transferring to A&M. He had five sacks and 14 tackles for loss for the Aggies.

He is one of several edge defenders who might be targets for the Cardinals with the 16th pick in the draft.

He has been productive. He has played in big conferences. He plays a premium position and has the physical traits necessary. He will definitely be under consideration.
