The Arizona Cardinals were present at Texas State's pro day on Wednesday. One player they were there to evaluate was edge defender Brice Bass.
According to The Draft Network's Justin Melo, Bass met with the Cardinals as well as the Atlanta Falcons following his workout.
How did he do?
Coming in at 6-foot-3 and 248 points, he ran the 40 in 4.70 seconds, had 20 reps of the bench press at 225 pounds, had a 33.5-inch vertical leap and 123-inch broad jump.
Bass played one season for Texas State after three at Gardner-Webb. In 2024, he had 42 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, a pass breakup and a forced fumble.
His PFF run grade of 88.7 was tied for fourth in the nation.
While at Gardner-Webb, Bass posted 85 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks in three seasons, playing 36 games and starting 13.
