Arizona Rattlers defeat Green Bay Blizzard

The defending Indoor Football League champion Rattlers improved to 2-0, after Dalton Sneed threw two touchdown passes in the final minute to rally past the Blizzard 51-47 in Green Bay on Sunday, April 6.

Sneed had 269 yards and four touchdowns passing. He hit Corey Reed Jr. with a score with a minute to play, and found Jamal Miles for the two-point conversion to bring the Rattlers to within 47-44.

After the Rattlers turned the Blizzard over on downs at the Arizona 5, Sneed hit running back Ron Brown Jr, for a gain to the Green Bay 15 with eight seconds left. Sneed’s 15-yard pass to Miles in the end zone with three seconds left gave the Rattlers the lead.

The Rattlers broke up a desperation heave in the end zone on the game’s final play.

The Rattlers play host to the San Antonio Gunslingers (1-1) on Saturday, April 12 at 6:05 p.m. at Desert Diamond Arena.
