He said he's looking at Texas and Kansas and will enroll in time to be eligible mid semester 2009. So he must have a pretty good idea where he's leaning since the turnaround on enrolling is pretty quick.

Said he has no ill will towards UA, and will leave in good academic standing so as not to hurt their APR.

Like I said months ago, we were not granting his release so that Jamie Dixon or whoever we hire isn't straddled with lost scholarships on top of the roster overhaul he will have to endure starting in April. If Withey transferred in October it would've knocked our APR, but fortunateley he finished the semester in good standing so we immediately granted the release. It was the only decision Livengood could make and Withey would not have been able to suit up this year anyways.

I heard KU is where he'll end up.

Wall is making another visit to KU soon. Cheek is deciding next week, and now Withey is a possibility.

With EJ and Robinson already committed we're looking at 5 with not even close to that many schollies

I hate to say it but with the way the team is designed, Withey might be more important of a sign than Cheek even though Cheek might be the better player. Right now Aldrich is more of an NBA threat than Collins.

Johnson/Taylor/Wall at the guard positions, Little/Marcus Morris at the wing, Markief Morris/Quintrell Thomas/Thomas Robinson/Whitey under the basket.

Although this leaves us with no true 3 point threat.
