In just a couple of minutes, on consecutive plays, Arizona shortstop Stephen Drew broke his right ankle sliding into home plate and Milwaukee center fielder Carlos Gomez fractured his left collar bone making a diving catch. The Milwaukee Brewers wound up winning 5-2 in 10 innings on Wednesday night, an outcome that probably won't mean a lot in a 162-game season.
