ASU is coming off an OT win over Washington. OSU is coming off the upset of USC.

Yeah, it sucks that it isn't being televised. These next two weeks will be tough but they are must wins if ASU wants to make a decent season out of this. They'll be back in the top 25 with these two wins. :)

It should be an interesting game, since showers are expected...ASU has been very good at running the ball this season, and with the turf at OSU, they'll probably be the faster team...No road game in the Pac is easy, and I predict a very close game, with a few long runs on screen passes being the difference...ASU-24, OSU-21.

BTW, OSU has a great run defense, which is the biggest reason why I think this game will be close.

ASU looks to be getting smoked at half-time, 31-7. Haven't been listening to the radio, but this doesn't look good. After looking at ESPN.Com, I found this stat:
Carpenter 2/10 for 4 yards, 2 INTs. UGH.

What the heck is wrong with Carpenter? How can a player look so sharp as a Freshman and look like one of the worst QBs in recent school history the next????

I've only been able to see a couple of games this year since I live in TN so its hard for me to judge but looking at his numbers in nearly every game this year its UGLY.

I put it all on Koetter. His terrible botching of the QB situation before the season started screwed everything up. It got all sorts of crap in Carpenter's head that never should've been there.

What a disaster of epic proportions Dirk Koetter is. Instead of sucking from Day 1, he's teased Devil fans with glimpses of hope. And, suckered Lisa Love in right along with it.

From the Loren Wade murder of Brandon Faulkner to the mishandling of 2 incumbent QB's... Koetter has done NOTHING to warrant even deserving of a chance to be the leader of this team.

Koetter needs to be FIRED before he steps off the plane from Corvallis.

Someone needs to step up and offer their $$$ to help get this clown out of Tempe.

Has Koetter been fired yet? Until he is - I am boycotting all ASU football...

can't believe this is happening this year, it's embarassing.

I doubt Koetter will be fired this year since he signed an extension after last season. Also, all ASU has to do is win one more game and they are bowl eligible.

Because frankly he is just not that good. His completion percentage is what 55%? Thats awful. He has essentially had two good games all year and that was against powerhouses Nevada and NAU and when he is called upon in big games he shrinks.

Bad decsion by Koetter in my opinion

But how does that explain how well he played last season as a Freshman? Did he get "coached down"? Was last season just a fluke? If I just looked at this seaons numbers and ignored last year I'd agree with you 100% but I just question how a player can go from being very good to just plain terrible in one offseason.

I was out of the country when the QB decision was made and I was shocked when I got back. I've liked Keller ever since when he came in to the game versus UofA when Walter was hurt--then I got to watch him in El Paso at the Sun Bowl and he impressed there as well. Its a shame he'll be playing for the college program that is among my most hated.

I have only watched a couple of ASU games this year but it seems to me that he may haven taken a step back now that there is pressure on him. Some guys, when annointed the starter, just cant seem to handle the pressure. I dont know fi this is true, but just a hunch.

Statistically speaking it also appears he is holding onto the ball too long. He seems to have been sacked a lot this year.

I thought Keller was poised and was shocked as well when Koetter made the QB decision. Sometimes that experience means more than you can measure statistically...
