FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas baseball is the newly minted No. 1 team in the country.
The Razorbacks (30-3, 11-1 SEC) top the latest USA TODAY Coaches Poll after a 4-0 week that included a dominant sweep over Missouri. Arkansas set a program record by scoring 51 runs in an SEC series, outscoring the Tigers by 42 across three seven-inning games.
Arkansas was also ranked No. 1 by D1Baseball, Perfect Game and Baseball America Monday morning. The Hogs received 26 first-place votes in the USA TODAY poll.

The Hogs have been ranked inside the top-five throughout the season, but they've ascended to the top of the pecking order behind a dominant offense and bullpen. The Razorbacks' 334 runs rank third in the country, and all 12 of their relievers who have made an appearance have an ERA below 4.75.
The previous top-ranked team was Tennessee, but the Volunteers fell three spots to No. 4 after losing a home series to unranked Texas A&M. The Aggies lost to Tennessee in last year's national title series, but they remain unranked with a 16-15 record in 2025.
Rounding out the top-five behind Arkansas are No. 2 Texas, No. 3 LSU, No. 4 Tennessee and No. 5 Clemson.
Arkansas returns to action Tuesday night with a home game against Arkansas State. This weekend, the Razorbacks hit the road for a three-game series at No. 6 Georgia, who most recently got swept by the Longhorns in Texas.
