We are sending out our very good U. of Arkansas baseball team to play Arizona with hopes of going to Omaha. We beat Airizona twice at Arkansas and lost twice at Arizona in Arizona in previous years. There will be a lot of future major league players in this matchup. The first game is on TV. I think it will be on ESPN 2. If you like baseball at a high level then tune in. We have won 36 games and have a couple of real long hitters and good pitchers. I assume Arizona does also.

Just so you will know john h, when you refer Arizona State as Arizona, Sun Devil fans automatically raise their hackles. There is quite a rivalry between the two schools. The fans in Sun Devil land know the Arkansas Razorbacks are a very good team.

One of the most exciting games in recent memory...

I have to admit though, i had the worst feeling about the game especially after Adrew Aplin was thrown out at the plate for the final out of the 7th, and we again stranded 2 runners in the 8th.. it just had the feel of a game with so many opportunites, we would let slip away... but alas, this team once again pulled out the magic...

Fo me though, Calhoon's INSANE 5 walks, and the relief pitchign of Mitchel Lambson was the story...

OUTSTANDING game, we have not dropped two games in a row the entire season, lets not start now...

That was just a back and forth game all the way through; so fun to watch. Lambson was spectacular and mannn I was going crazy when we got that tying run with two outs in the ninth. This was a big game to win because Arkansas is sending out their ace tonight. Our line-up is very capable so let's hope we can just finish them out. Arkansas really showed what they could do last night and I don't want to see a Game 3.

Congratulations to the Arkansas Razorbacks for their tremendous effort. They gave the Sun Devils all they could handle.

Seriously. It might have been a two-game "sweep," but they played 2/3 of a third game with the extra innings. Great showing Arkansas, your effort in the loss was better than some who are advancing to the CWS.
