Davis was both the second-fastest running back, with a 40-yard dash officially timed at 4.37 seconds, and the second-strongest running back, with 31 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press.

"I think the thing that sets me apart is the size, speed, agility combination" Davis said. "I think that is a rare combination that you just don’t find every year. The guy I really compare myself would be more of an Arian Foster, Adrian Peterson. Arian Foster with the zone running. I’m really good at running the zone and just the size and speed of Adrian Peterson."

He's somebody I've thought the Cardinals should be looking to pick up for a while now. Had absolutely no idea he'd run the 40 like he did. WalterFootball.com has him rated as the 20th best back in the draft (should move up based on combine results). Would love to pick him up in the 4th.

Rumblin', bumblin', fumblin' Knile Davis. Very leary of a guy who turns it over that much in college AND struggles to stay healthy.

Just what we need, another running back to keep Beanie Wells company in the training room.

Not many people outside the SEC know about Kniles Davis. In 2010 he rushed for nearly 1400 yards and led the SEC in rushing. He broke his shoulder in the first game of the next season and his ankle the next year. He is 6' and 220 lbs and blazing fast. If he is back to health he may turn into an immediate starter for some team. In HS he was considered the 2nd or 3rd best RB in Texas. I suspect he will go in round 4 or 5 if he made a good impression at the combines. He can run inside or outside. We could use a speed guy like him if we go in that direction. We are hurting for good RB's.

His size speed ratio is very high. 124. 120 being real excellent. This happens every year during the combine, someone breaks through and wows with pure athletisism. Margus Hunt was another. The Missouri linebacker too.
