Reds released OF Matt Kemp.
This is a bit of a shocker. Kemp was on the injured list with a broken rib. He hasn't hit well this year but was a well-above average hitter for the Dodgers last year. Kemp has a .200/.210/.283 triple-slash with one homer and five RBI in 62 plate appearances this year.

David Price, the #Redsox’s most consistent starter this season, goes on the 10-day injured list with elbow tendinitis.
They called up RHP Ryan Weber to replace Price.

Tests on Steven Matz confirmed it is indeed a nerve issue that's been bothering him a couple starts, not his elbow. So that is a relief for the Mets. He is likely to miss a start or so to be cautious while he receives conservative treatment.
