At least two people were injured and around 100 displaced after a suspected arson caused fire to rip through an apartment building in Greater Vancouver, British Columbia, early on Tuesday, November 19.Fifteen trucks and 50 firefighters were called to battle the blaze, which ignited around 12:30 am, the Burnaby Fire Department said.Two people were taken to a local hospital and treated for smoke inhalation, Assistant Chief Gavin Summers told local media.“It’s quite a large [building]. There’s going to be a lot of people displaced from this building, I would say at least 100 people are displaced, and they’re being put up by emergency social services right now,” Summers added.In surveillance video from Mike Shaul, two people can be seen walking up to the building. A bang can be heard and then an explosion can be seen. The pair then runs from the building.The fire was being investigated as possible arson, authorities told local media.
