Per ESPN, Art Shell had a meeting with ownership and was relieved of his HC duties.

Dang, at least they could have waited until we made our choice, now we have one more team to compete with.

Somehow I don't see a coach weighing us against them and picking them.

I don't think even Denny would take that job. That was the most dissapointing loss to me last year was the loss to the Raiders.

Maybe Davis is planning on hiring D. Green?

When Denny was coach of the Vikings there was a rumor that Davis really wanted him in Oakland. It helped Denny get a contract extension. It could happen but with the $2.5 million payoff Denny doesn't need a job.

Miami is equally as bad as OAK IMO. Atlanta could be desirable if you think you can work with Vick. If not, then it's just as bad as the afore mentioned.

strictly looking at the job and not the accutraments (sp) of quality of life i believe that the cardinal job is no. 2 behind pittsbugh...and not by that much either.....money is going to be a factor as well....but i think we will spend what needs to be spent if we get in bidding war if someone really sticks out to rg and the killer b's.

The job out there is this job, absolutely no track record of success to worry about with the added bonus of nice living enviroment, new stadium and a great young team with potential.

Pittsburg you have big shoes to fill.

The Raiders are a black hole.

The Dolphins are in shambles.

Atlanta has a coach killer on the roster.

The smart money is on us and no one has ever said that before ever.

i expect bob ryan to get a promotion. i think he is the perfect person for that job. he been with the raidiers for a few years now and was the bright spot of the raiders season, or davis will talk john madden in coming back to coach again. heck madden in the hall fame, they won't be able to take that away from him.

I think Pittsburgh is clearly the #1 spot based on tradition, it's a football town, and they have always been very very loyal to thier coaches.

The Dolphins because of the location and the defense...also attractive.

The Falcons because of ownership and a pretty talented team...also attractive.

The Cardinals have the most potential and the most WOW factor if you can be the one guy to actually do the impossible...you would be a superhero! But...they also have the biggest bust potential and the perceived worst ownership...at least Davis wins baby.

Dolphin's defense is very old and very thin. Location is not all that great for a family guy. Good owner for a coach.

Michael Vick has killed 2 coaches so far and Arthur Blank just publically proclaimed that a new coach will have Vick as his QB. Blank also has this very aggravating habit of walking the sidelines during the game. That is not an enviable job.

Hmmm, Denny and Randy together again....wonder how the bass fishing is in the bay area.

Just what I want, bump into Dennis green when I'm out fishing in the delta.
