Agreed across the board. Leinart fell largely on concerns about his arm and long term health, but he's far more ready to play than Cutler and Young.

Leinart reminds me a lot of Ken Stabler later in his career when Ken couldn't run much. Probably not as accurate as Stabler was at that point in his career but who was.

I'd love to see Matt spend the whole year sitting and learning, both for his learning curve, and a full year to rest and heal his body, but with Warner I think it's pretty likely matt will start some games next year due to injury.

And boy is it nice to not have debates over Navarre vs Rohan Davey, seems kind of a non issue now that we have Leinart.

I was doing backflips when Leinart was avalible. I was all set to take Cutler never thinking Matt would be avalible. The footballo gods are finally smiling on the Cardinals.

Although I am very happy that we were able to snag Leinart and I think he'll be one of the best all-time Cardinals, I just can't shake the "I'll believe it when I see it" being whispered by the little BradMann with horns dressed in red sitting on my shoulder.

I hope so.

Man, I really, really, REALLY hope so.

I would have given your 200-1 odds we would not have got Leinhart several months ago. The unbelievable has happened.

I hate to be the one to break it to you but we didn't get Leinhart, in fact nobody by that name was drafted this year.

I think we should just start calling him "Lionheart". Hell, it worked for Navarro.

I got my #7 jersey in the mail yesterday, and am wearing it today. If I could do it all over again, I might get the custom one with #7 and "DREAMBOAT" on the back.

Dude, the ladies love Matt Leinart. I've been warning my girl friends back home about him since April 29. I think it's funny.

Where's that picture of Leinart sitting on the concrete steps with the football in his hand from the Rookie day that they have in L.A.? They didn't take that picture to appeal to the fellas.

If I were a Pats fan, I'd get a Brady jersey saying the same thing.
