Per GBN this was the order last week
# Team W-L Opponents'
W-L % Final
opponent

1 Houston
2-13 .533 at San Francisco

2 New Orleans 3-12 .517 at Tampa Bay

3 New York Jets 3-12 .533 Buffalo

4 Green Bay 3-12 .542 Seattle

5 San Francisco 3-12 546 Houston

6 Tennessee 4-11 508 at Jacksonville

7 Oakland 4-11 .538 NY Giants

8 St. Louis 5-10 .488 at Dallas

9 Buffalo 5-10 .500 at NY Jets

10 Arizona 5-10 .504 at Indianapolis

11 Detroit 5-10 .504 at Pittsburgh

With the Bills loss, The only things that may keep us in the top 10 is if the Rams lose and DET has a tougher schedule than us (its not looking that way)

We would pick ahead of Detroit vis a vis SOS.

Not any more. They move ahead of us because Indy has a better record than Pittsburgh.

we have the same strength of schedule coming into this week and it looks like the majority of the teams that we played this year (assuming they aren't playing against each other) are winning.

Indy, alone, was better than Pittsburgh by 3 games. We are not going to pick ahead of Detroit.

Looks like I have a good chance of being wrong about Detroit. I think every matchup left, except the Bears-Vikings, are teams we've played.

Skins-Eagles

Cowboys-Rams

49ers-Texans

So, our SOS should only go down since those teams will split those games. If the Rams lose, we should pick 10th. If they win, we'll pick 9th.

Right?

I would think the outcome of Bears/Minnesota would also influence some other teams SOS, such as Detroit. It's pretty tight to call, maybe I'll take a nap and let it sort itself out.

They played both, so that cancels out with one of the other three matchups.

I find it odd that Detroit has a chance to pick higher than us......I really wish it was head to head instead of SOS........Detroit beat us, so they should have the advantage of a better record over us, no? Wouldn't that somehow prove they're better than us?

Sportznutt, iirc that is a tiebreaker but I dont think it will be needed.

Nope its not. The only tiebreaker for draft order is based on SOS. If there is a tie it then goes to a coin toss

We just got hosed, if the lambs win we will get pushed out of the top ten. If the texans would have won we had a chance to pass buffalo for # 8.

a win would make for .002 change, we still wouldn't have passed Buffalo

We lost a draft spot to Dallas afew years ago because we beat them that year. We thought there was gunna be a coin flip remember, but since we beat them they got the pick.

Seems to me Detroit would be behind us because they beat us this year.

There was a coin flip people just thought we switched positions because we lost to them
