The crazy thing about this team is that nobody has been consistantly good. The players you name are mainly the guys that have been hot lately. It seems like every week somebody new steps up. This team doesn't have a legit All Star, maybe Orlando but he has had some nasty cold streaks.

This is hard... There has not been one standout this season that is head and shoulders above the rest. I would have to say Orlando because of his defensive abilities, but this could also go to Byrnes or even Young.

Owings is a ROOKIE who has hit the wall. It would be dumb to choose him over Davis or Livan in a pressure-packed game this year. I do have high hopes for him like you do. Just not for this year.

I like the line-up though, but I'd rather have Snyder a spot or two higher with the way he's hitting.

I agree with everyone on Pena.

If we needed a base hit, probably Byrnes.

4 hitters would be what greenmachine has:
Young, great lead-off man for us so far
CoJack, good discipline and bats best at #2
Hudson, I'd trust him to do something good
Byrnes, our best hitter so far this year. He'd drive them in

MVP: I'll give Valverde some props since no one usually does. The team makes their living off of close games and there is no other closer in the league with more saves or 1-run saves this year. Byrnes would be another good choice. I think I'd put him over Hudson for the year.

Snyder for sure, better defensively and offensively...
Tracy vs Reynolds is a good argument, but I don't know if I want Clark starting... His AB in a choice selection towards the end of the game is too valuable.

If healthy, Randy Johnson. Assuming that we're basing off the here and NOW though, I'd say Livan Hernandez. He has big game experience, and I'd feel most confident with him in a Game 7 or a must-win game if Webb has already pitched and wasn't available.

Go with the one who's done it with so much consistency so far this season, Pena.
