George, watching the game last night, I thought the real key to Harvey's good game was that the Maverics were blanketing Amare the whole time. Even when Amare didn't have the ball they sometimes double teamed him to deny his getting the ball. I was impressed with how, whoever they put on Amare stuck to him like glue at all times on the court. That was obviously the Maveric game plan and it worked to perfection. It was amazing Amare scored the points he did, grabbed the rebounds he did, and he dished out 5 to 6 assists that I remember seeing (I haven't looked at the box score to see his official numbers). Again, I have to commend the Mavs, who obviously follow their coaches intructions. The Suns did impress in that they forced Nellie to bring back his starters late in the fourth to secure the game. At least the Suns never quit in the game, even though they looked lost on the offensive end of the court at times.

Amare had 4 assists, but made some other passes that should have turned into points.

The other Suns big men were playing when Amare was being doubled and did not do much. I was very impressed with how Harvey came in full bore after not playing much for a month and half. There was no "getting a feel for the game". He gave a lot of energy from the second he came onto the court.

The Suns half court offense looks bad because they are still below average passers. The Mavs played the passing lanes and repeatedly stole the ball. This is just one more thing the Suns will have to work on. :(
