ASFN logo, T-shirt, polo. feedback - please

We are in the middle stages of designing and making available two things to start with:

1. An ASFN T-shirt with strictly a Cardinals theme. Cards theme imprinted at left breast, slogan on back of shirt.

2. An ASFN polo shirt (short or long sleeve) with a classy ASFN logo (design available for viewing July 8). Logo will be embroidered at left breast and will be our official logo, not Cardinal-themed. Nothing on the back.

These will be high quality, durable (7 oz or heavier) shirts, and will be sold at cost plus shipping. Early pricing indicates T-shirts will cost $9 to $11 or less, depending on volume, plus shipping. Polos will be in the high $twenties.

Cardinal theme for t-shirt is attached in .pdf format. Please view it. We are thinking of extending the red beyond the knees and making the lower legs/socks black.

Slogan ideas for back of shirt: Please submit here in this thread. Jo Sparkes has proposed this, but we can have several choices:

The polos will probably be Outer Banks and be available in many colors and styles (pique, combed cotton) including team colors (purple - Suns), (Dbaks), (teal? - yotes).

The bigger each total run (minimum 36) the lower the cost. Orders will be shipped priority mail.

Shirts will also be used in giveaways to ASFN registered posters for a number of reasons to be stated later.

Here is the deal. We are trying to further establish our identity as both a news gathering entity and a fan-based and fan-driven service. We will not make any money off hese shirts and they will be available from now on andmay be changed from time to time.

j/k... coupla suggestions,

You might not want to abbreviate ASFN on the back, while it is second nature to us, I'd spell it out for new people to understand.

Also, I would put the www address on the back. When people see www they think "internet site"...so I would get a slogan like Jo suggested, but maybe rearrange it like...

Because ASFN is not just about the Cardinals I tried to keep it generic. However The color of the shirts could match the team that you support. Red for the Cardinals, Purple for the DBacks, etc...

You could also add your team logo later if you wanted.
