Not many fans are "standing until we score".

At Mercury games in the same arena, everyone is on their feet until they get their first points of the game.

At Mercury games in the same arena, everyone is on their feet until they get their first points of the game.

They don't announce it, not that I heard and with all the flashing lights all over the place, plus watching the game not the signs, I am sure most people do not notice it.

I stood until we scored because some guy in front of me was standing and I had no option. He sat once we scored and I finally figured out what was going on.
