Former Boise State standout Ashton Jeanty is far and away the biggest running back prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft, and he sent a fantastic message out to all 32 NFL teams via The Players' Tribune on Wednesday.
In an open letter to NFL general managers, Jeanty talked about his background in football and why he's the right draft selection for any team to make next Thursday.
Jeanty ended the letter with an absolute mic drop of a conclusion, one that should get NFL general managers fired up about bringing him into their building.
"It’s TACKLE football … you know what I’m saying?" Jeanty wrote in the open letter. "I’d draft the guy they can’t tackle."
Like, c'mon. That's amazing. Unless you already have a superstar running back on your team, how could you not want Jeanty after reading something that commanding and confident?
The Las Vegas Raiders and the Chicago Bears are Jeanty's most likely landing spots next week barring a surprise trade up from an NFL team desperate for someone of the running back's star power.
However, any team could hypothetically position itself to take Jeanty in this year's draft. At the least, this powerful coda should get some teams thinking hard about adding him to their roster.
