Q: Andrew Wiggins is fun to watch. He has skill and athleticism, great foot movement. He is worth the price of admission. – Stuart, Miami.

A: While Andrew Wiggins is not necessarily the north-south physical presence of Jimmy Butler, there is a shot-making ability that could go a long way with this roster. Plus, he routinely has taken on top defensive assignments, which has allowed Erik Spoelstra not to feel as if he has to force-feed Davion Mitchell into the starting lineup. As with so many players, health can make all the difference. It has with Andrew in these past two games. Now, what the Heat need to see is sustained such play, if not only for themselves, but also to showcase having a legitimate trade chip in case there is an opportunity for a significant post-Jimmy Butler move. The emergence of Andrew is significant on so many levels for the Heat.

Q: Are you planning on being in the hallway outside the locker room after the game on Tuesday when Jimmy Butler screams out, “Tyler Herro over me?!” – Jason, Coconut Grove.

A: Tyler Herro as Tobias Harris? Interesting. The thing it never was either/or when it came to a potential Jimmy Butler extension with the Heat. That goes to the money given to Bam Adebayo, as well. With Jimmy Butler, it was merely show up for work and then you’ll get paid. With Tyler Herro’s extension window to open in the offseason, he met the mandate of showing up for work this season. Ditto with Bam. When Jimmy played, he was everything the Heat could have asked. But availability is a key ability.
