Astros Sign Clemens

Very good 1 year sign by the Astros. Clemens won 17 games last year with an ERA of 3.91

The old man still has some wins in his right arm. Houston and the Cubs have outstanding staff's, especially if the Cubs sign Maddux.

What little respect I had for Roger Clemens is now gone. All that retirement crap. I'm sick of players haveing their farewell tours, only to come back and play again.

Roger didn't have a farewell retirement tour last year. I see a lot of Yankees games and he never said he was going to retire. The media made a big deal out of "this may be Roger's last time visiting x stadium" but Roger never said that.

He did say during the World Series or shortly after that he would retire, but until then he never said that definitely. Not like Ripkin or Gwynn did.
