I'd hate to see what this game looked like if WSU wasn't giving us such a short field time and again. 27 - 23 right now and most of our points have come gift wrapped.

This young WSU QB is having a field day with us. He looks pretty good, we look pretty bad.

ASU needs a new coaching staff; Offense is too predictable, defense does the exact same play over and over and over, and over, all game and never makes any adjustments. Erickson and his staff are way out of touch with practically every aspect of football. ASU will never be good with this staff, they are clueless.

This game sealed the fate for Erickson. Pathetic coaching all the way around, inexcusable play for the season on the line. Please take the worst defensive coordinator I've ever seen with you Erickson, Bray doesn't even deserve to call plays for Pop Warner, absolutely mind boggling this guy is a coach at any level. ASU needs a Peterson type from Boise, someone who is innovative and doesn't rely on ancient plays that only worked 100 years ago...

This team is ridiculous, and the Pac 12 South is a joke. I'm embarrassed for whichever lousy team eventually defaults their way into the division title. Oregon should just have a bye week for the championship game. They'll be playing an unranked team and will have nothing to gain from winning, only risk of injury. The PAC 12 outside of a few schools needs to get their act together. Hopefully the new TV money will help going forward.

Oh and Erickson is gone after this season; this game sealed his fate.

They've been talking about how this was going to be the year. Well they were in the driver's seat at 6-2 with 4 very winnable games to end the season. But now they've crapped the bed 2 weeks in a row and it's all crashing down. Good teams go out and win those games. Good teams take advantage of the opportunities given to them. But this team laid down and didn't even try. DE is done.

Seeya later Erickson, thanks for playing.

The weird thing is, I do still think ASU will win the Pac 12 South. If they win out and UCLA loses to SC (all very possible), its back to being ASUs division. Now of course it won't feel very much like a "Championship" (just like 2007 didn't) but kinda odd that DE might put together 2 "Championship" seasons to book end the worst 3 year run since the school became a University.

I hope Love has the balls to fire Erickson at seasons end, no matter how the rest of the year goes. If not, Crow out to fire her as well.

Hire Kevin Sumlin please....but really I think he's too much of a hot commodity to even consider coming here now.

Don't worry, you guys are going to have a field day against the UofA defense. The game won't even be close unless Osweiller gets hurt early. Also, I can't see ASU losing at home to Cal and can't see UCLA beating USC, so you guys will be in the Pac-12 championship game. Does that save Erickson's job? If Lisa Love waits until after the season to fire Erickson, that will not only hurt recruiting, some coaches that are available now could be already hired by another school.

We let a freshman QB and a WSU receiver put up all world numbers. Our secondary completely sucks.

They appear to be poorly coached as one long pass play after another they are right next to the receiver when the ball arrives. They never look for that ball. Instead. They wait until the ball hits the receivers hands and then try to tackle or knock the ball loose. If they would ever look for the ball, they would have multiple interceptions.

I know the dangers of turning your head and getting burned when a receiver adjusts his route, but these plays were very obvious and the DB's can communicate out there that the ball is in the air. That's stuff I learned in high school and I have no clue why these DB's are missing this.

I don't know what all the complaining is about. Last week, UCLA gained huge chunks on the ground. This week, we figured out a way to neutralize the rush attack and it worked to perfection. And how can you not love the play calling. WSU keeps swallowing up our O-line so when we need the short yards we just send a hobbled Marshall off tackle. For a more thorough analysis see WeBeStupid.Com.

I was really impressed by Wazzu's sophmore receiver Wilson and their senior LB Hoffman-Ellis. Both are headed for the NFL and I wouldn't mind seeing either in Cardinal red.

ASU is a much better team at home and they should win the next two without much trouble.

I agree with the first part of this sentence but I'm not so sure about the second part. I've never seen them play with as little passion as they have the past couple of weeks. It's almost like they've given up already and that was before this most recent loss.

Do programs put up division championship banners? Not sure.

ASU and specifically Lisa Love has a very interesting situation ahead should they not beat Oregon in the CCG. I can't imagine she has much pull over there these days with Sendek and Erickson both struggling. You guys should get back on track against our defense though.

Foles and Criner should have a field day with our horrid secondary and ZERO pass rush.

4k tickets remain. See you there?

Very surprising honestly considering the apathy surrounding both programs right now. I'm not going to the game, might tailgate with some friends before though. I'm at that age where I'm young enough for idiotic college kids to give me crap but old enough to not really feel like dealing with all of it.

Ha, I hear that. Think I'll probably do the same, and if I can find an extra ticket go to the game.

Apathy for the Cats is probably much higher, I'd say disappointment would be the prevailing sentiment in Tempe. If we had taken care of business against UCLA and WSU, I'd certainly be much more excited. Granted we still wouldn't have a chance vs. Oregon, but not many teams in the country do.

I'm a long ways from Tempe but I think I can speak for the Moreno Valley contingent of Sun Devil fans and say that DISGUST is the prevailing sentiment here. It was disappointment when we lost to Illinois but their play since USC has been downright embarrassing.
