ASU has NAU. UA has South Carolina State. They play each other.

It's hard to know much of anything going into the season but I like what ASU offers at running back which hopefully should allow the young QBs to find some open receivers and make the defense play honest. I think the offense will be okay. My primary worry about ASU is their defense, especially in the secondary... like last season.

Heavy player turnover + entirely new schemes (radical in some cases) = no certainty. Even the blocking scheme is new -- more zone blocking, more *option* in the spread option.

I'm concerned about the defense as a whole. I don't think this personnel is well-suited for a true 3-4, so they'll go more esoteric, which means more ways to screw up for the new guys. Especially the linebackers and safeties. It could be OK if Pennell is truly dominant at the 0, but it spells BIG TROUBLE if he's not.
