Big game tonight, between two teams, that areboth still fighting for their tournament lives...

For the Devils, they can afford to lose the game, just not by a lot... As much as I don't want to think about it, if the Ducks win out, and finish 9-9, and win the first round of the Pac-10 tournament against WAZZU... Even if ASU beats OSU and finishes 9-9, Oregon may make the Tournament over ASU.....

However if ASU can beat Oregon tonight, they will OFFICIALLY solidify a birth in the tournament.....

ALso its SOO DAMN GAY, that this game isn't on TV.. instead we get to be treated to the 7-9 UofA kittycats vs the 0-16 badgers... woo...hoo....

GO DEVILS!

HUGE game. I don't know about the rest of you but I don't want to go into Saturday having to win to get to 9-9. Hopefully we win tonight and the guys can play loose on Saturday against the Beavs.

I think the key to tonight's game will be Oregon's 3pt shooting. I'm pretty sure they lead the Pac 10 in most 3's this year. If they're on, it would kill our zone D. The weakest part of the zone tends to be the corners so the Devils need to hustle out there to cover it.

IMHO the key to beating Oregon is Tajuan Porter. When he's on they win, when he's not they lose. He is the classic shoot you in or out of the game kind of player.

I'm also in the minority I think Leunen is their best player most seem to think Malik Hairston is.

Mathew, welcome to ASFN.

Frustrating that ASU is not on the tube against a tough opponent on FoxAz but Arizona against a patsy is. We have a ways to go before we get real respect.

I will be watching UCLA/Stanford too. I see a blowout there, just not as badly as UA's.

It is on ESPN360.com. Not sure if it free or not. Worth a try.

Hey, thanks! I never checked that out before, it's pretty cool!

Oregon got hot with 3s, but ASU tightened it up over the last few minutes of the half. 33-32 Ducks

lol... so I am sitting in a lecture.. watching the game in ESPN360.com..

Good game so far, ASU is down by 1 at the half.... They are certainly looking strong.. I think both teams releaize how big this game is....

We need to be careful in the 2nd half because we are playing on the road (aka we are going to have a bunch of phantom calls), and HArden, Pendergraph, and Boetang all have 2 fouls...

If we can keep everyone out of foul trouble... I think we may be able to pull his one off....

GO DEVILS!

This was one of the WORST rebounding games I think I have EVER seen.... And it wasn't all the Devils faults, there were 3 or 4 occasions that a long rebound just simply bounced the other way...

But will someone PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY SHIPP

A. IN THE GAME AT ALL
B. Is lined up for a rebound closest to the basket when Kusikis is FARther away...

Are you kidding me??

Soi when the rebound falls right to shpp, he promptly loses it out of bounds with 2 minutes to go....

UNBELIEVEABLE

According to the experts, all ASU had to do was split these final 2 games and they were into the NCAA tournament. They just need to beat Oregon State which shouldn't be a problem (although as up and down as this team has been you never know)

Well, the 3's did kill us and our rebounding in key situations was TERRIBLE. I'm thinking more and more that we're going to need one win in the Pac 10 tourney to get in. If we beat OSU and lose in the 1st round of the tourney, I'd put our chances of being in the NCAA's at 35-40%.

lol.. Skkorpion.. you are a worse pessismist than I am... And I thought that was hard to do.....

The bottom line is we need one of 3 things to happend to assure ourselves a birth in the Tournament.. assuming we beat OSU

1. UofA beats Oregon leaving Oregon at 8-10, and on their way to the NIT....

2. ORegon beats UofA, then loses first round of the Pac-10 Tournament leaving them at 18-13, no way they get in

3. ASU wins @OSU and then beats USC in the first round of the PAC-10 tournament

If any 1 of those three things happend.. ASU is a lock for the tournament if all three of those things don't happend.. meaning ORegon beats UofA and then beats WAZZU, and UofA beats UCLA/Stanford, then ASU may be on the outside, but I don't see that happending...
