I didn't expect this. I predicted them to only reach the Sweet 16 and with January out I really didn't think they'd do it, but they beat Bowling Green by 18. They were leading for probably the entire game. This is a great accomplishment. ASU women's sports has been very good this year. Orsillo did a great job starting and led the team in points. ASU really took advantage of Bowling Green's zone defense and knocked down 3's all day.

Watched the whole thing. Loved it. Dominated from beginning to end.
Now we'll see if Charlie Turner-Thorne has enough offensive imagination to beat Duke. I doubt it. Duke has just as deep a bench as ASU and a better offense and faster guards.
Anything can happen. I'll be watching the game. I hope Duke doesn't get preferential referee treatment like Tenessee and UConn do.

Charlie and her husband are great people and I know how hard both of them have worked to make this a successful program.

That girl choked. Am I right? I just got a glimpse of the end at the gym.Yep, she made a great steal, but couldn't hit a FT at the end...Rutgers and ASU were supposed to play earlier this season, but ASU didn't show up because of a death in a players family. Likewise, Rutgers didn't show up to force a forfiet(pretty classy move).

ASU is losing by 22 with under 4 mintes left so I'm done watching now. It sucks because Ireally thought they could beat Rutgers, but they just couldn't hit shots tonight and Rutgers was just much better at rebounding. Hopefully that'll change with the huge transfer that was brought in for next year. It's sad to see them lose, but they still did better than I expected. It was a good season.

I don't think ASU played badly, they were just inferior athletically across the whole roster. The shots were rushed because so many were being tipped.
If they played Rutgers 10 times, they'd lose big 10 times.
