First, the 22-year-old wants to add one final piece to his already inspirational athletic career by becoming just the seventh Arizona State wrestler to win a national title, and the first since 2003.
Iowa's Matt McDonough, the defending NCAA champion at 125 pounds, and Northwestern's Brandon Precin are among those between Robles and perhaps an undefeated season. At 23-0 going into the final home meet of his career at 2 p.m. today, Robles can become ASU's fifth unbeaten national champion.
