That is what espn is reporting so the Pistons can trade for Wallace and still secure Okur in the offseason.

Is that a dream scenario or something? Since the Pistons include a first in their trade for Wallace how are they going to get Boston to make that deal?

Atkins pretty much has the same contract as Eisley but a little cheaper.

If Detroit pulls this off I would have to question why Colangelo couldn't dump White of the Celtics especially with their lack of size.

I am actually more than a little concerned about those Googs rumors because another trade that guy reported seems to be true.
Stevenson for Giricek.

This might be a three way deal which includes Utah. Two picks to move White sounds steep, but if they are properly protected it might be acceptable.

:stupid:

It sounds bad now, but we have talked about this before.

The suns were (thought they were at least) in a VERY different situation when they made that trade.

Also, we don't know what restrictions there are on the picks (it might include the Cleveland pick if it does not come through this year).

In any case, the value of an expiring contract went up dramatically after the Marbury trade. It certainly appears that the Suns decided not to risk going for a less expensive deal with the Bobcats this summer.

I have been disappointed with White. He had some pretty good games, but then seemed to regress especially after Amare came back. I think the Colangelos were disappointed too and decided to cut their losses.

Boston gets: Chucky Atkins, Lindsey Hunter and the Pistons first round pick this year.

Detroit gets: Rasheed Wallace and Mike James

Atlanta gets: Chris Mills, Zeljko Rebraca, Bob Sura and the Bucks first round pick owed to Detroit.
