Auburn's first round game is officially set. Time, date for March Madness first round game

Auburn basketball wrapped up the overall No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. However, they must wait to learn who their first-round opponent will be.

The Tigers will meet either Alabama State or St. Francis on Thursday in Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, as part of the South Regional. Should Auburn make it to the Sweet 16, their road will take them to Atlanta, where they will play for a spot in the Final Four close to home. The First Four game between Alabama State and St. Francis will take place on Tuesday at 5:40 p.m. CT. In the meantime, Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl says that Monday's and Tuesday's practices will be used to work on areas of concern following their streak of three losses over its last four games.
