Auburn baseball is without its leadoff hitter following an injury scare in the second inning of the series finale against Alabama.
Eric Snow, who also serves as the Tigers' starting third baseman, left the field on his own after appearing to be hit in the cheek with a fastball thrown by Crimson Tide right-hander Braylon Myers
Broadcasters on the call Mike Couzens and former Auburn All-American Gabe Gross reported that Snow is undergoing concussion protocol, and if cleared, should return for the remainder of the contest.

Snow was seen sitting in the dugout in the top of the third inning as Auburn led 6-3, but there was no mention of whether he would be back in the lineup, or in the infield for the Tigers on Saturday.
On the season, the junior USF transfer is slashing .322/.413/.496.
Auburn coach Butch Thompson said Snow "could come back in the ball game" during an on-field interview. However, coaching staff is "trying to let his [Snow's] eyes glass over and get a little bit better" before re-entry.
