Auxerre predicted XI v OGC Nice: Théo Bair to start, Clément Akpa out

Clément Akpa received his first call-up for the Ivory Coast national team this week, however, he will play no part for AJ Auxerre as they travel to the Côte d’Azur to face OGC Nice on Friday night.

The centre-back, an ever-present for Auxerre this season, is suspended. Gabriel Osho, who has been in and out of the squad, is expected to start in his place, alongside captain Jubal and Sinaly Diomandé. Meanwhile, Burnley loanee Han-Noah Massengo is expected to start this game from the bench. This loan spell to L’AJA has not been as impactful as the last. That isn’t helped by being in competition with Kévin Danois, who is having a strong campaign in the midfield.

Canada’s Théo Bair, who has experienced a return to form in recent weeks, is expected to lead the line ahead of Lassine Sinayoko.
