This might actually be decent unlike the movie.
I liked the movie. But I had no experience with the cartoon.
I just binged this live action series. With the exception of a few minor issues where it was obviously on a TV budget the show was top notch. Very entertaining.
I can't say if it was true to the cartoon. But the final battle at the northern water tribe city was pretty different from the movie by my recollection.
I enjoyed it and I'm excited for the next season.
I have watched only the pilot. My problem is I have started something like 10 shows and finished zero of them. I really need to focus on fewer shows and watch them through before taking on a new one.
It wasn't.
This show was pretty "meh". I'm on the fence if I'll give a S2 a shot or not. The production values were good on it but the writing and acting could both use major upgrades. The characters are one dimensional and need some development and a lot of the dialog on cringe worthy. It might be good for a 10 year old but I wouldn't recommend to an adult.
